Welcome to 0409, the fanlisting for the Japanese musician and actor Yamashita Tomohisa, lovingly nicknamed Yamapi or simply P by friends and fans. He is one of the biggest idols to come out of Johnny's Entertainment, since joining the agency in 1996 at just 11 years old. Now 24, he has been consistently topping the Oricon charts as the leader of NEWS since 2003, and in the special units Shuuji to Akira and GYM, as well as making his solo debut in 2006. He has also starred in recent hit dramas such as Nobuta wo Produce, Kurosagi, Proposal Daisakusen, and Code Blue.

Currently, he is starring in Code Blue 2, the sequel to the hit 2008 drama, with Aragaki Yui and Toda Erika. The drama premiered on January 11, 2010, and airs Mondays at 9pm on Fuji TV.
