0409 was launched on November 14, 2006 on the Hatsukoi network.

TOMOHISA.org was a Christmas gift from my lovely little sister Rainie-chan ♥ Around December 2007, I had been randomly fangirling away to her and mentioned in glee how tomohisa.org was actually available~ 8D The next thing I knew, it became one of my Christmas gifts from her (≧∇≦) Thank you so much, Rainie-chan~! ♥ The domain was registered on December 26, 2007 through GoDaddy, and is hosted by Surpass Hosting. I had every intention to open the domain in time for Pi's 23rd birthday (^▽^;), but the grand opening finally came on June 29, 2008.

This is my fourth domain, but my first to be named and dedicated for a specific fandom :3 My original dream was to create a JE empire fansite, where I would have attempted to include information on every JE group & and its boys (yes, even the Juniors! （￣ー+￣）) Ahh, if only I had the time... I've since scaled back on that dream and decided to focus all my efforts on Yamapi ♥

Vision

This is just the beginning, but someday, I hope to achieve my dream in creating the best Yamapi fansite ★ I want to include everything I can about Pi, taking information only from official and trusted sources, so that even old fans can learn something new about him. This is a years-in-the-making dream project, and it'll probably take me some time to get there, but I will make it happen~ :D

Title

0409 is Yamapi's birthday (April 9), and those numbers hold a special meaning to him. In Japan, the numbers 4 and 9 are generally considered bad luck because the kanji for those words means death and pain. However, being the positive guy that he is, he takes something negative and turns it into something positive by using different kanji for those numbers, which would make the meaning change to happiness is coming ♥ It's the name he gave his column in the Japanese Seventeen magazine, and he even includes the number 49 on his autographs XD I think the number symbolizes lots of great things about Yamapi's personality, so I've decided to name the fanlisting after it ♪
